Are W2G forms issued after winning money at sea?
A
While the Casino is open in US Territorial or International waters, all US Citizens or Residents will be issued a W2G form and required information will be reported to the US Internal Revenue Service for the following events:
- Individual slot machine jackpot of $1,199.99 USD or more
- Bingo session win totaling $1,199.99 USD or more
- Single table game payout carrying odds over 300 times the wagered amount
- Win a Lotto amount exceeding $599.00 USD but less than $5,000.00 USD
The above scenarios are also in effect for Non US Citizens or Residents while in US territorial waters when a 1042 form will be issued.
Please be advised that Driver's License or Passport as well as Social Security Number will be required to be presented at time of payment.
